Excellence in Healthcare Partnerships Awards 2026 – Welcome
Welcome to the Excellence in Healthcare Partnerships (EHP) Awards 2026
We are delighted that you are sharing your innovative practice by entering the EHP Awards 2026 with an opportunity to win one of the prestigious awards.
About the EHP Awards
This is the EHP Award’s first year and we are delighted to be able to share the launch with you.
Partnerships can be formed between a single healthcare organisation and a single pharmaceutical or Healthtech company, or multiples of either, or other stakeholders from different sectors. All submissions will be judged on the fundamental triple win – benefiting patients, healthcare organisations (NHS and other), and pharmaceutical or healthtech companies and other wider stakeholders.
There are two types of healthcare-industry partnerships: collaborative working and joint working projects. These partnerships involve cooperation between industry and local NHS/healthcare organisations across primary, secondary and system-level healthcare settings.
Collaborative working is generally between one or more pharmaceutical or Healthtech companies, healthcare organisations and possibly other organisations. It must have, and be able to demonstrate, the pooling of skills, experience and/or resources from all parties involved. There must be a shared commitment to successful delivery from everyone involved and each organisation must make a significant contribution. In the case of NHS organisations, this contribution does not have to be financial. It can involve the sharing of support in the form of skills and experience to deliver projects successfully.
Joint working projects are a specific type of NHS-industry collaborative working, rather than a generic term for all cross- sector collaboration. They must be patient- centred and always benefit patients directly, which gives them a narrower focus than collaborative working.
Both types of healthcare-industry partnerships will qualify to enter these awards.
Entering
We are using an online entry portal, accessible via this link: https://excellenceinhealthcarepartnerships.awardsplatform.com/
This entry system will streamline entering, making the whole process much simpler for you – the entrants. It will enable:
- Complete control of your entries
- Changes to be made up to the deadline date
- Clear instructions on what you need to include in your entry/entries
- Auto-confirmation that your entries have been received.
The judging criteria and entry format have been put together by a steering group of industry and healthcare leaders to clearly reflect the essential criteria that the judges will be looking for.
The judges are looking for innovation in collaborative working. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn as well as reward, but think AND state how your entry is different to what others are doing and what your measures of success are.
Help in preparing your entry
When preparing your entry please ensure you have read the mandatory entry rules listed below:
- Each criterion has a maximum word count and when planning your entry, you should take note of these
- As partnerships can operate over many years, we will accept entries from projects that were in operation at some point between January 2023 and December 2025 (They may have started or be planned to finish outside of this period).
- We will accept re-entries from projects as they develop over time – but they should be accompanied by new results or significant new developments.
- You can add supporting materials, but please make sure they support the entry and are not an extension of the information provided.
- You will also need to provide an image or video that supports your entry. This will be used in AV, on results pages and the results book if you are selected as a finalist.
The EHP Awards presentation will take place as a live event on 5th February 2026.
We can’t wait to see you all this year as a judge, entrant, participant or winner.
